Eyes Tell Your Story – Beauty Tip

I love to share some of my favorite products with people. No, I do not get free products or a royalty by sharing this with you. Today were are focusing on eyelashes. An eyelash or simply lash is one of the hairs that grow at the edge of the eyelid. It grows in one layer on the edge of the eyelids. Eyelashes protect the eye from debris, dust, and small particles and are sensitive to being touched. I bet you already knew that, right?! Long eyelashes are considered a sign of beauty in many cultures. Some women enhance their eyelash length artificially, using eyelash extensions.

I tried lash extensions when I was living in Florida. Emily meticulously applied the extensions to my lids, a total time investment of a little over two hours. Every two weeks, I needed a fill, total time investment a little over an hour. My lashes were beautiful at first, then I developed a reaction to the glue used to adhere them to my lids. Instead of being lush and attractive, they looked like I lost a bar fight. My eyes were swollen and sore, and all the lashes looked like they had been pulled out one by one. That approach certainly didn’t work for me. My lashes were short and stubby and my eyes itched like crazy. Now what? Plan B, lash serum. I have tried many different types until I found the perfect one for me. Coupled with the right mascara, produces some outstanding results. I get compliments from people all the time on my lashes. Most ask, “Are they real” I am proud to say, “Yes, they are real.”

Personally, I feel eyes tell your story. You can find out a lot about a person by looking into their eyes. Scientists discover that eyes really are ‘the window to the soul.’ The researchers argued that eye structure and personality could be linked because the genes responsible for the iris’s development also shape part of the brain’s frontal lobe, influencing personality.

Enough about eyes and eyelashes. Here is my eyelash daily beauty regimen. These products will enhance the lashes and draw attention to your beautiful eyes.
